  I never review, but I just want to warn people who are thinking about choosing a Wellness Plan at Banfield. I have been going here for two years because I thought it was a little on the cheaper side, with being a working college student, that’s what I look for, & of course good services for my fur baby. Well just recently I discovered that they are MONEY DRIVEN. I pay almost $50 a month, (just found out that it’s $800 a year), just to get one set of vaccinations PER YEAR. I discovered places only charge around $20 for yearly vaccinations, that’s it. The plan does not cover anything else except a physical exam, that’s right & only that. I recently decided to cancel my plan because it is just a complete waste of money, but come to find out I have to either keep paying my monthly fee of $50 for 7 months or pay the rest in full which is $300. COMPLETE rip off!!!!!! The only thing I would suggest is to only get the plan for your puppies first year, (because of so many vaccinations & check up’s are a must for the first year, plus getting your dog nuetured or spayed is included in the plan, which is nice). But after that first year, DO NOT renew your plan. They don’t cover anything but once a year vaccinations & physical exams which is pretty pointless if nothing is wrong with your dog. So either pay $800 a year for 1 round of vaccinations or $20.
