  Dr Devries is horrible, he runs a sweat shop practice that revolves around money for his business. He doesn't care about patients, doesn't answer questions or offer advice, and never follows up on prior lab requests... His staff is horrible, and are really just rude trailer trash... I highly would advise AGAINST seeking medical advice from Dr. Devries!

  Clinical staff is FANTASTIC, Office staff is not so much. I had an appointment scheduled on a Monday afternoon, i got sick on a saturday morning and i left a message on saturday morning that i was ill. i am in very poor health and suffer from 5 diseases an this was the first appointment i ever missed, When i called monday to reschedule the office manager was very cold and slammed me with an $80 no show charge, i tried to explain and she stated that i would have had to cancel on friday, i said i was not sick on friday then she accused me of lying that i wasn't sick, i was in shock, the conversation went on over 30 mins as i explained my illnesses, she didn't care one bit, i asked to talk to the dr and she said he will say the same thing, its the policy. She eventually had me in tears as i was dumbfounded to be treated this way. She said i could not come back till the fee was paid. What medical office in their right mind threatens a diabetic by withholding care. Since she would not let me talk to anyone else i wrote a letter to the owner asking him to clear the $80 fee if i promised not to come back, i received a call saying the fee was gone and i could come back provided i never missed another appointment. no apology, no compassion, they clearly didn't care much about me and with 5 diseases i couldn't make that promise so i never went back and i never heard from anyone again. The office is money hungry, no compassion or smiles from the office staff which is terrible for a medical office. If you can get past them, the clinical staff is very caring and helpful but be very careful never to schedule appointment on a monday!!! Final thought to the office is, if you are going to put a HUGE fee associated with a strict zero tolerance policy and exact time frame you need to have a special phone number to give patients a chance to be able to talk to someone. i actually gave you 2 days notice but it wasn't my fault no one answered the phone.
